On the afternoon of October 15, Stuart Thompson, Global President of ABB Electrification Service; Andrew Stepien, President of Asia Pacific; Marco Tellarini, President of Europe, Middle East and Africa; and Pedro Robredo, President of the Americas, led the global management team of ABB Electrification Service on a visit to Hangzhou Shenhao Technology for exchange and discussion. Good News! The Industry Standard General Technical Specification for Train Undercarriage Inspection Robot Systems in Urban Rail Transit, Led by Shenhao Technology, Is Officially Released
On August 17, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) issued Announcement No. 22 of 2026, approving the industry standard “General Technical Specification for Train Undercarriage Inspection Robot Systems in Urban Rail Transit,” which was drafted under the leadership of Shenhao Technology. The standard specifies the system composition and technical requirements of train undercarriage inspection robot systems for urban rail transit. It applies to the design, manufacturing, testing, use, and management of train undercarriage inspection robot systems for urban rail transit systems using the steel-wheel-on-steel-rail mode. It is the first industry standard in this field, and other train modes may also use it as a reference.
